Why Upgrade to an SSD?

The reason most people replace their HDD drive with an SSD is performance. Depending on the task at hand, SSDs can be up to 10 times faster than their HDD counterparts. Replacing your hard drive with an SSD is one of the best things you can do to dramatically improve the performance of your older computer.

All rights reserved. As someone who has been in the IT field for almost 20 years, I can tell you this: I don't look at files because I'm “curious” - I feel that is a violation of the trust you've placed in me to fix your computer. On the other hand, if the problem you're having has to do with files, I do have to look at those during the troubleshooting process. It's the same as a doctor trying to diagnose a disease - you take a set of symptoms, information from your “patient”, and then run tests and/or observe to figure out a diagnosis and resolution.
